Yes. Trekkers require three permits: the Manaslu Restricted Area Permit (RAP), Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP), and Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP). Alpine Vista Treks manages all permit procedures for a hassle-free experience.
The trek is considered moderate to challenging due to long walking days, high altitude, and crossing the Larkya La Pass (5,160m). Good physical fitness and prior trekking experience are recommended, though strong beginners can complete it with proper preparation and guidance.
The best seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November). These months offer stable weather, clear mountain views, and safe trail conditions.
Accommodation is in teahouses/lodges, ranging from basic to comfortable. Meals include Nepali, Tibetan, and simple Western dishes such as dal bhat, noodles, soups, rice, and pasta. Alpine Vista Treks ensures the best available lodges and hygienic meals throughout the trek.
