Itinerary
Day 1
- HOMELAND-TASHKENT Arrival in Tashkent International airport, your guide will meet you and transfer to the hotel and check in (If the arrival time suites the hotel check-in time).
- We start today's excursion with the ancient mosques and madrasas (Islamic academies), the complex of Hazrat Imams, which includes the Barak Khan madrassah (XVI century), the old mosque Djami (Friday) still in the work, and the mausoleum of Kaffal Chachi ‐ the tomb of a great philosopher, poet and teacher of Islam lived in the tenth century.
- Then we will stop at Charsu bazaar, the city's most famous farmer's market and a great place to meet many locals coming from the surrounding countryside dressed in traditional costumes.
- Lunch at the Central Asian Plov centre.
- After lunch we’ll have the panoramic tour of the modern city: The Independence Square, the square of Amir Temur, the Theatre Square, Tashkent City square.
- Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 2
- TASHKENT-SAMARKAND Breakfast in the hotel.
- The transfer will take you to the train station and you will reach Samarkand by high-speed train ("Afrasiyab" 2 h.13 minutes).
- There you will be met by a transfer and let's start the journey, to visit Gur-Emir Mausoleum – the graveyard of Tamerlane and Timurids, magnificent Registan Square with three Madrasses Ulugbek Madrassa, the Sher Dor Madrassa and Tilla Kari Madrassa.
- After visiting the giant mosque of Bibi Khanum, we will visit t h e Siyab Bazaar.
- Pyramids of water-melons and melons, bags with walnuts, seedless raisins and dried apricots, bunches of grapes and alluring piles of figs attract the visitor with sweet tooth.
- Red apples and sweet-scented pears lay on counters next to leathery fruits of a pomegranate.
- Lunch time.
- After lunch visit the observatory of Ulugbek, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, where you can visit the tomb of Qusam ibn Abbas, continue to Hazrat Hyzr Mosque.
- End of the sightseeing tour.
- Visiting the Museum of Winemaking named after Khovrenko.
- Wine degustation.
- Dinner and overnight in Samarkand.
Day 3
- SAMARKAND – TASHKENT After breakfast we will visit the Samarkand silk paper workshops, silk carpets factory and the complex Imam al Bukhari, great leader of Islam, the master of the Hadis and the complex Khodja Akhrar with Devonbeghi Madrassa and Mosque Akhrar.
- Transfer to the station to catch the high speed train to Tashkent (2h 13 m), arrival in Tashkent and transfer to the hotel.
- Dinner time.
- Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 4
- TASHKENT –HOMELAND Early breakfast in the hotel.
- Transfer to the International Tashkent Airport to catch the return flight with great expressions!!!And our journey with you ends.
Faq's
The best time to visit is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is mild and pleasant.
